Academy Overview

If you already value golf, or are just beginning to appreciate the sport, come see us at the Golden Golf Academy, nestled in the Columbia Valley with views of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. We have something to offer for the youngest to the most experienced golfer, for local residents to visitors on a golf vacation.

Learn about the game, tune up your skills, or break out of a rut—a golf lesson may be just what you need. Our TPI certified CGPA instructors break down the skills into effective, simple, easy-to-learn lessons that will help you understand your swing. You will learn about cause-and-effect relationships and interpreting ball flight so your game will continue to improve after the lesson is over. Lessons may make use of any of our facilities, including our practice greens and driving range. We offer group, semi-private, and private lessons.

The youngest golfers can charge into the sport through our Junior Development Program. Here in Golden we value junior participation a great deal. Our program involves children aged 3-19. We have adopted the Royal Canadian Golf Association’s Future Links program, and are dedicated to developing successful lifelong golfers. With our excellent coaching, and focus on a mix of fun and competition, the Golden Junior Development program is ideal for children and teenagers alike, regardless of experience or skill.
